Side EffectsAs with other sulphonylurea medicines, Gliben is capable of producing severe hypoglycaemia. Serious side effects are hepatitis, jaundice, and a low sodium concentration. Nausea, heartburn, stomach fullness, and weight gain may also occur. If any of these worsen, consult your doctor immediately.
